The Society of Bedside Medicine, in partnership with the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and the Northwestern University Center for Bedside Medicine, is excited to continue its Bedside Medicine Scholars Program! SBM scholars join a community of talented clinician-educators and researchers who recognize the value of the bedside encounter in improving diagnostic accuracy and overall patient care. The program selected 2 scholars each year from 2021-2024. Starting in 2025, the Center for Bedside Medicine at Northwestern University added additional funding to support bedside scholars from Northwestern in addition to the national SBM scholars.
The application cycle for the 2027-2028 Scholars Program is now open! Letters of intent are due by December 14, 2026.
