Fellowships in Diagnostic Excellence

There are five fellowship programs in diagnostic excellence to attract candidates from a variety of specialty backgrounds and career stages. Each fellowship is remote, requires a project proposal focused on improving diagnosis, and offers a stipend as well as professional networking and mentoring opportunities. National Academy of Medicine Scholars in Diagnostic Excellence, in partnership with the Council of Medical Specialty Societies

For mid-career professionals from a broad range of disciplines and professions with a focus on diagnosis-related work.

The Society of Bedside Medicine Fellows Program

For junior faculty within five years of terminal training. Focus on bedside diagnosis; one aspect of project must address issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.

For early career physicians and research professionals focused on one or more of the ABMS research priorities, including diagnostic excellence.
