A planning committee of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will organize and conduct a public workshop to examine equity in access to high-quality diagnosis to reduce health disparities. The workshop will feature invited presentations and discussions on:
- Factors that create barriers in access to high-quality diagnosis;
- Strategies to reduce barriers to access, including ways to leverage community-centered approaches;
- Approaches to professional education and development to increase clinician cultural competence and awareness;
