Leapfrog Diagnostic Excellence Town Hall

Hospital quality leaders are invited to join us for a presentation on new developments in diagnostic excellence at hospitals.  Presenters will include:

• Leaders from the IDEAS Project: The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) recently developed several resources to help prevent diagnostic safety events. The AHRQ-funded Implementing Diagnostic Excellence Across Systems (IDEAS) project is now recruiting health care organizations to use and evaluate Calibrate Dx and/or Measure Dx.
• Dr. Emily Patterson: Presenting key conclusions from the recent AI and Human Factors Conference, including the emerging need for optimization of the human-AI interaction in health care, specifically focused on quality, value and patient safety.
• Jean-Luc Tilly, Program Director with The Leapfrog Group: Reviewing the new Diagnostic Excellence section of the 2025 Hospital Survey and plans for the future. Learn about how your responses will inform Leapfrog’s approach to this new area of quality measurement in hospitals.
