Applications Open: NAM/CMSS Scholars in Diagnostic Excellence
The 2025 Call for Applications is now open until 3pm ET on March 3 for the NAM Scholars in Diagnostic Excellence in partnership with the Council of Medical Specialty Societies (CMSS)! Funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, this one-year, part-time remote program is an exceptional opportunity for 10* mid-career professionals from a variety of disciplines and professions that propels them in becoming national leaders in the field of diagnostic excellence.
Beginning in late June, scholars engage in various leadership development activities, which include:
- Monthly educational sessions with distinguished experts and cohort learning activities to enhance the scholars’ knowledge and skills in diagnostic quality, safety, and equity;
- Professional networking opportunities through the NAM and CMSS; and
- Mentorship from national leaders who can provide professional guidance and subject matter/technical expertise for the scholars’ work.
In addition, each scholar receives a $35,000 grant and an additional $5,000 domestic travel funds for program-related activities.
